Dnyaneshwar is a PhD student in Plant Breeding and Plant Molecular Genetics. His dissertation research will explore genomic prediction for hybrid performance in maize using a unique series families derived from crosses between ex-PVP inbred lines. He is also working on Triple Null soybean project aimed at reducing the three anti-nutritional compounds viz. lectin, Kunitz trypsin inhibitors and P34 present in the soybean seed. Dnyaneshwar is funded through the Indian Council of Agricultural Research International Fellowship (ICAR-IF).
